Kinectrics and ArcWear Now Fully Accredited for ASTM F3502 Barrier Face Covering Test Methods

Kinectrics and ArcWear, are offering ISO 17205 Accredited Testing for the new ASTM F3502 Barrier Face Coverings Standard.  ArcWear and Kinectrics have long been known for our arc flash, flame and thermal PPE testing labs in Louisville, KY and Toronto, Canada.  In response to the pandemic , Kinectrics stepped up to provide this much needed testing.  In the nuclear chemistry lab, this type of filtration testing for biological, chemical and radiological hazards has long been a central expertise. F2101 Test Method for Evaluating the Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) of Medical Face Mask Materials, Using a Biological Aerosol of Staphylococcus aureus

F3407 Test Method for Respirator Fit Capability for Negative-Pressure Half-Facepiece Particulate Respirators

Normal clothing minimum flammability 16 CFR Part 1610 Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles
