Making a Difference
As a company, we hope to create opportunities so people can live safer, better lives. While our services span the globe, we consider it our responsibility to make a positive impact in the community around us. From supporting local outreach projects, to serving as volunteers and participants at various events, we are committed to serving people. Not only do we value the highest level of excellence in the services we provide, we also consider it our responsibility to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. There’s no better feeling than giving back and helping others.
Susan G. Komen
The ArcWear staff and family participate annually in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Louisville, Kentucky. We are committed to supporting causes affecting the members of our team and the people in their lives. The fight against Cancer has directly touched our team; ArcWear staff walks in honor of our late General Manager, Nancy J. Ellegood Lewis, and we support every effort and research in the fight against breast cancer.
The Nancy Ellegood Lewis--Women in STEM Scholarship
In honor of Nancy J. Ellegood Lewis, ArcWear grants an annual scholarship of $2,000 to a qualifying female Trimble County High School graduate interested in a STEM. It is the hope of those sponsoring the scholarship that these hard-working students from Trimble County can carry on the legacy that Ms. Ellegood Lewis created in the STEM field.
Kids Against Hunger
The ArcWear staff and family members have helped package hundreds of meals for children in the US and throughout the world by volunteering at Kids Against Hunger, Louisville. Their mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children, and we love working with them to move towards achieving this goal.
Reuse. Reduce. Recycle.
When you do business with ArcWear, you’re working with a green company. We have a simple, in-house program where we recycle just about anything we use: old books, cardboard, plastic ware, ink cartridges electronics and aluminum, to name a few.
