ArcWear expands its scope of accreditation for ISO 17025. Efforts of continual growth for our company and clients is at the forefront of the ArcWear division of Kinectrics in 2022. As we wrap up this year’s laboratory audit, the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) has accepted continued ISO 17025 accreditation, with a scope expansion of additional standards and specifications.
Some notable additions to our scope include more puncture resistance testing options through ASTM and NFPA specifications/testing for protective ensembles and structural and wildland firefighting equipment. As part of our continual improvement efforts, adding new items like these help broaden the range of tests for textiles and other PPE equipment, diversifies our testing portfolio for future clients, and continues to better suit client needs.
