ASTM F1060 Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance (CCHR)
AASTM F1060 Conductive and Compressive Heat Resistance (CCHR), measures the heat resistance of a composite for conductive heat under pressure. It is used for firefighter’s gloves, knee pads and trousers or bibs with knee pads. It is also used for other gloves used in foundry work or other applications where workers could be exposed to heat in a compressed state.
This test method is used in ANSI 105, NFPA 1977 and NFPA 1971.
